The boxes on the right allow you to search the ballads database for various types of codified information which we have recorded. For example, to find all the ballads which we judge to reference the topic 'love', select 'Emotions - love' from the 'topics' box at the top and click search. You can also use more than one box at a time, and add multiple options to a single box.
